The Next Chapter
I've been having a blast in the UK. London is a beautiful city, filled with some of the nicest people I've encountered on my travels. A lot of things are similar to home and it makes me feel super comfortable. I wanted to reach out to everyone who has been following my journey, I honestly didn't think I had it in me to stay much longer than maybe 1 or 2 weeks. The fact that I've been able to make it this far fills me with pride. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, and my journey has run its course. Money has run thin, I haven't been able to lock down a job and I feel it in my gut that it's the right time to come home. I'm not upset with myself or let down, I look back on all of the opportunities I've had over the past 7 weeks, the many people that I've met, the stories that I've heard and shared, my time in Europe was short but having proven this to myself once I'm more likely to get back on the horse again when it's time and I look forward to picking up this blog again whenever that time is. Excited to see all my friends and family shortly! I've got a week left and I'm going out with a bang. Thank you all so much for being my support over this trip, now I'm off to make some more memories while I have the chance to, stay safe and happy!
Neue Bop: Starts With Them, Ends With Us by Dan Mangan
"What happens next? What happens next?" I'm a worrier, always have been and always will be, and now that my trip is coming to an end and I'm heading back to Canada with no job, no school, there are a lot of unknowns. BUT... if this trip has taught me anything is to trust the process. Dan Mangan is a Canadian indie/folk musician, I would definetly reccomend checking out his music, he has a relaxing voice and writes some beautiful lyrics. Enjoy!
